Evangelism 101: Sharing the Good News

You are invited to join Pastor Wynemah on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. for a half hour study prior to worship at 10:00 a.m.

“Go in peace.  Share the good news.”  We often hear this dismissed from church on Sundays.  In response to it we say, “Thanks be to God!”  It’s our way of remembering each one of us who has been baptized, fed with the Word of God, and nourished at the table of God’s grace is sent into the world to tell the story of Jesus and his love.  But how?

Throughout the Pentecost season, our Adult Faith Formation group will consider just that.  Together we will study, review and practice ways in which we can share the gospel (good news) or engage in evangelism (to use one of those churchy words many shy away from these days).  So, if you want to grow in your understanding as well as ability to tell the story of Jesus and his love, join us each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Let’s remember “Evangelism” IS NOT a four-letter word.  It is necessary, however, if others are to get to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, just as we do.

Join us for In House Worship every Sunday Morning at 10:00 a.m.
