Worship Services
Worship Services are every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. (Nursery Care is Available).

Communion Services
Communion is administered the first and third Sundays of each month during our regular Worship Service. (Nursery Care is Available)

Worship With Healing
Worship Services with Healing On the first Wednesday of every month, we offer our Healing Services which include annointing with oil.

Holiday Services
Lent: Beginning Ash Wednesday, we offer Wednesday Night Services for the 6 weeks of Lent beginning at 7:00 p.m. and preceded by a soup and bread fellowship at 6:00 p.m. 
Holy Week: Maundy Thursday Worship Service at 7:00 p.m., Good Friday Worship Service at 7:00 p.m. Easter  Sunrise Service & Communion Service 10:00 a.m. Christmas Eve:  6:00 pm Service  & 11:00 pm Service.  Miami's Top Brass Concert at 5:30 p.m.

Music is a special part of the Worship experience at St. Thomas.  Our Music support includes an 8 rank Moller Pipe Organ, a Hand Bell Choir, an Adult Choir, a grand piano, soloists, and a music director.

CHANCEL CHOIR
The Chancel Choir rehearses each Sunday at 11:00 am and performs every Sunday during our regular Worship Service. 

Deborah Wong Mar, BA, M.M. Organist and Music Director

    Debbie Mar has been the organist/music director at St. Thomas Lutheran By The Bay since 1989.  A native-Miamian, Debbie attended North Miami Beach Senior High School, where she met her husband, Cedric, of 30 years.  She received her Bachelor's degree, from Barry University in 1976 and then went on to receive her Master's degree, from the University of Miami, in 1989. 
     Then in 1992, Debbie was working on her PhD at UM, but decided to turn her interest to being a mom.  Chris, 17 is a senor at New World School of the Arts.  Becky 15, is a sophomore at Westminster Christian School, and Sarah, 12, is a 7th grader at Ammons MIddle School. 
     Debbie is a National Board Certified Teacher specializing in Music Education and has taught in the Miami-Dade County Public School system since 1977.   She currently teaches choir at Southwood Middle School.   Much of her time is spent as state chairman for the Florida Vocal Association planning all-state and mentoring middle school teachers.  Her favorite family vacation spot is Cape Hatteras and her favorite past time is relaxing at home after the mom taxi has stopped each day.  Her favorite cause is Lutheran World Hunger and encourages everyone to check it out.
