Sunday School

 
Our St. Thomas Sunday School classes cover preschool ages (3-4) through adults.  This includes Sunday Confirmation class for grades 6 and 7 and a youth class for grades 8 through 12.  Our materials are high-interest, age-appropriate, Bible based lessons, with innovative activities included to enrich each class time.  We endeavor to have 2 teachers per class, regardless of class size.  This helps to ensure that classes are well covered each Sunday. 

During the year we have special events in which the children may participate, including in recent years, making Valentines for Veterans in our local VA Hospitals.  We have also participated in Red Hand Sunday (an exercise to speak out against child soldiers) and in creating a Lenten Egg Tree with eggs which the children blew and decorated in a group activity.  During Advent, we have made Advent wreathes and have worked together on our yearly Christmas program.
